Scouts Robotics and Coding Badges

We collaborate with Girl Scout troops in the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas to offer customized badge workshops focused on robotics and coding for Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes.

Our sessions are carefully crafted to meet badge requirements through hands-on, engaging, and fun activities designed to inspire girls to explore STEM.

We supply all the necessary equipment, materials, computing system, curriculum, and expert instruction—while you bring the troop for an exciting mini-camp or a badge-o-rama marathon!

FIRST Robotics Teams

We support FIRST Robotics programs by providing comprehensive assistance for the formation, development, and sustainability of FIRST Lego League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams.

  • Informational Meetings – We guide teachers, staff, and parents through the process of forming a team by offering program overviews and answering questions.

  • Training Camps – We equip new teams with essential technical skills for both students and coaches.

  • Administrative & Logistical Support – We assist with registrations, grant applications, equipment loans (including spare parts and SPIKE Prime robots), and other team needs.

  • Season-Long Mentorship – We provide ongoing mentorship and support as needed throughout the season.

  • Collaboration Opportunities – We connect and enable collaboration for metro-area teams by organizing scrimmages and unofficial competitions.

Tech Camps and Workshops

We partner with a wide range of non-profit organizations, schools, clubs, libraries, and youth groups to provide engaging, age-appropriate, and hands-on technical camps and workshop sessions to create an inclusive environment where all students can access STEM education, regardless of their background or resources.

Our programs are designed to cater to a variety of skill levels and interests. For beginners, we offer guided sessions such as Hour-of-Code, which introduces students to the fundamentals of programming in an accessible and fun way.

As students advance, we offer more complex and hands-on experiences with robotics. In these sessions, participants can explore the exciting world of coding by building and programming robots using tools like the micro:bit, Finch robot, and LEGO Spike Prime robot kits.

Whether it’s a fun introduction to coding or a deep dive into robotics, our programs are designed to ignite a passion for learning and encourage students to think critically and creatively about the world around them.

Event Exhibitions

We actively participate in community events, festivals, and even parades by setting up engaging STEM booths and interactive tables designed to introduce attendees to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Our booths feature LEGO robots, FTC robots, and other STEM-related projects to  to spark curiosity and creativity. By engaging with students, parents, and educators, we aim to inspire future innovators and provide information on how to get involved in STEM and robotics programs.

These exhibitions serve as a dynamic platform to promote STEM education, spark interest in robotics, and connect with the broader community.

Our mission is to Increase Accessibility And Engagement Of Underserved And Underrepresented Students In STEAM
